Jeff will be back in Wales in November to finish the writing and seal up plans for "officially" starting the recording that will take place both in the states and in Europe. Item - Jeff Spent 10 days in Liverpool, England producing and recording the Maddy Leigh blues band CD. Jeff said "It was a lot of fun, and we worked long hours and got some great tracks recorded. Everyone I was working with were just great people, makes it more fun than work!!" Jeff did the mixing in the states in his studio, and guest soloed on a couple of tracks along with his organ player Ted. Rumor has it that Jeff also got to sneak away to Scotland for some fun time. "Well, that's true, Scotland was awesome, wading in Loch Ness was definitely a lifetime goal achieved - even if everyone thought I was nuts!" The midnight train ride through Glasgow also left an impression, and was the inspiration for a song on the new Jeff Scheetz band CD - you have to check it out for the details!

Item - Jeff played in front of about 300,000 people in the St. Pat's day parade. He performed the Star spangled banner and God Bless America on the "Rock's" float. Item - Jeff was asked to contribute a song to the Jason Becker Tribute CD "Warmth in the Wilderness" on Lion music. The CD will feature lots of cool players like Marty Freidman, Paul Gilbert, Vinnie Moore, Jeff Watson and many more. Jason, who played with Cacophony, and David Lee Roth, suffers from Lou Gehrigs disease. Jeff says "It was great to be asked to contribute a song for such a great cause. Jason was a wonderful player who had his playing career cut short. It reminds us all that this world is temporary, and that is why it is so important to consider what happens afterwards". Jeff chose to do "Sensible Shoes" from the David Lee Roth CD "A little ain't enough". It is a very funky blues instrumental version. All musicians on the CD are donating their time and talent, with all proceeds going to the Jason Becker family.
